Lemmy at the rainbow bar & Grill

From its earliest days, the Rainbow was embraced by the rock ‘n’ roll community, becoming the home away from home for bands like Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, and Mötley Crüe. Perhaps no figure is more closely associated with the Rainbow than Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead, who made the bar his second home for decades. Today, his spirit lives on in the famous Lemmy Lounge and the statue that proudly honors him.

“You can’t be a legend in your own lifetime. It’s only after you’re dead that you become a legend.”
